To be successful in the role, what are we looking for is:

• A proven ability to lead a team of technical experts by coaching, engaging, and developing teams and individuals to enable a safe and compliant, high-performing workforce
• A highly collaborative approach with the ability to bring multiple viewpoints and inputs together and develop an aligned direction
• A proven ability to lead change and manage industrial relations with large, unionised workgroups
• Proven experience in operations management ensuring maintenance activity delivers on regulatory and customer requirements, while maintaining an effective and efficient operation that is safe for our people
• A track record in delivering business objectives (Strategic, Quality, Health & Safety) by leading and empowering cross functional teams to solve problems and implement sustainable solutions
• Experience in incident / accident investigations and work with stakeholders to improve the root cause and prevent reoccurrence
• Aircraft engineering qualifications or related trade equivalency.
